Looking to entice guests to arrive earlier and seize opportunity during the time ahead of the show, TAIT's collaboration with Cirque du Soleil aims to redefine the pre-show experience for the Kurios show in Montreal. We knew the experience would need to be as captivating as the show. We invite guests inside the tent to "Spark their Imagination" with captivating multimedia and interactive elements, allowing them to engage with Cirque du Soleil in fresh and exciting ways.
Drawing inspiration from the opening scene of Kurios, where a steam train sets the "Curiositanians" free, this pre-show experience tells the train's backstory, transforming the front-of-house into a captivating steampunk-themed station where guests are invited to interact through playful exploration. Their mission? To collect sparks from hidden interactive imagination beacons scattered throughout the site, designed and built by our team in cooperation with Cirque du Soleil, and add them to the Imagine-O-Meter that, when full, springs to life via a spiraling center and horns blowing, signaling the train departure and the start of the show!

If guests want to engage with Kurios-related news, look no further than the 6-sided interactive newsstand with multiple media touchpoints and content in English and French. The newsstand, designed and created by our media team, includes 35 different vignette animations incorporating key moments, characters, and set pieces from the show, each offering a unique interactive experience for guests to enjoy.
We are proud to have worked on this project alongside Cirque du Soleil.
