UNICEF USA aimed to transcend traditional advocacy by launching Heart Strings, an initiative to captivate a worldwide audience with interactive multimedia. The first fully accessible immersive experience in the United States, UNICEF USA’s goal was ambitious: crafting a message that resonates globally to inspire support for children’s rights. In this endeavor, they turned to Moment Factory for innovative concepting and design and challenged TAIT to bring everything to life.

Heart Strings was first unveiled in Houston, marking the beginning of an immersive journey. This experience married music, storytelling, and interactive technology, allowing participants to add their unique contributions to a collective melody championing children’s voice. The initiative’s triumph in Houston set the stage for subsequent experiences in Atlanta, Boston, and Chicago, with TAIT adapting the concept in collaboration with Moment Factory to its local context while maintaining the initiative’s core mission.

Through the team’s creative execution, Heart Strings has significantly advanced UNICEF’s global advocacy, uniting people through the power of music and collective action. This pioneering campaign has not only heightened awareness of UNICEF’s mission but also demonstrated the effectiveness of immersive, engaging campaigns in rallying support for humanitarian efforts.
