Building on a long-standing partnership that started with his early *NSYNC days, TAIT collaborated with Justin Timberlake, his production, and the talented creatives at Silent House to bring to life an over-the-top spectacle for The Forget Tomorrow World Tour. As his first album release and tour since Man of the Woods in 2018, the stakes were high to produce a show memorable enough for the superstar artist’s return to live performances.
In addition to providing our industry-leading staging and lifts for the tour, we were tasked with engineering, fabricating, programming, and controlling an exciting focal point of the show – a 5m x 9m piece of the video wall that extends from the full wall and can rotate 360 degrees as well as traverse vertically and track up and down the stage into the audience. This moving monolithic video wall hovers so close to Justin that he’s able to touch it as it moves above him during Cry Me a River. It angles around the arena portraying a larger-than-life version of his head that sings along to Sexy Back. And for the encore, the monolith video wall flips down revealing Justin on top as he glides over the crowd, angling over the edge while he’s serenading his fans with Mirrors.
TAIT turned the creative vision for this tour into reality. Using an ingenious solution requiring precise engineering, we created a tourable video monolith that is sure to be the talk of the summer as it hits cities around the globe.
