Puerto Rican rapper Bad Bunny was Spotify’s most streamed artist in 2021 and 2022, so he needed his first stadium tour to be bigger, better, and more jaw-dropping than anything that went before– thus, the World’s Hottest Tour idea was born.
We helped bring the tropical beach vibe of his blockbuster album Un Verano Sin Ti to life in the most magical, unexpected ways. Each sold-out show on the aptly named World’s Hottest Tour featured immersive screens, synchronized RFID light bracelets and stunning pyrotechnics. We created an LED-integrated sun that traveled across the stage on a tracking truss throughout the performance. For the climax, we designed a flying island rig with its own palm tree, which allowed Bad Bunny to circle the stadium and touch hands with fans in the stadium seating.
The World’s Hottest Tour spanned 31 stadiums across the US and South America, and the flying winches needed to be reconfigured for each venue to create a tailored flight envelope to fit the unique setup. Our team went on the road to make this signature part of the show happen at every stop on the tour. Each flight ran smoothly and safely thanks to our team's expertise and the unrivaled control offered by the TAIT Navigator Automation Platform.
Rolling Stone described The World’s Hottest Tour as ‘seismic’. It became the highest-grossing concert tour of all time by a Latin artist, and Bad Bunny claimed the highest grossing concert in 2022. We’re proud to have been part of the team that kept him flying.
