Monumental Sports & Entertainment wanted a world-class VIP experience for Washington Wizards games that could be rapidly installed and removed from its multi-use arena. We designed an end-court loft seating concept providing an unrivaled viewing experience for up to 60 guests, that can be installed in under 45 minutes.
The unique three-tier Hennessy Lofts consist of a Mag Deck riser structure and custom banquette seating, with tables, carts, and an integrated ADA lift. We worked with architect Gensler to bring the courtside loft plan to life.
The Capital One Arena hosts over 220 events every year, including the home games for the Wizards and two other teams. So, the system we designed needed to be portable, compact, and flexible. The modular courtside Hennessy Lofts solution fulfills those criteria and can be rapidly installed or removed to suit the venue’s busy schedule.
VIPs in the Washington Wizards’ Hennessy Lofts can enjoy a private, five-course meal or choose from an extensive selection of drinks curated by loft partner Hennessy with table service. And to wrap the VIP experience around the game, guests can claim a complimentary Uber or free parking for each home game. The Washington Wizards VIP Hennessy Lofts is a first-of-its-kind concept that continues a multi-decade partnership between Monumental Sports & Entertainment and TAIT –all in service of the fans.
