When Virgin contacted us for a launch, it wasn’t a metaphor. They were bringing people to new heights, and letting 12.5 million viewers come along by tuning into the launch of the Virgin Galactic Unity 22. We were excited to produce an event for the next step in commercial space flight.

The Virgin Galactic launch was attended by global media, broadcast media, dignitaries, investors, VIPs, influencers, students, and future astronauts. We kept guests comfortable with a 1,400 square meter (15,000 sq ft) fully enclosed, air-conditioned tent for guests, and set up stellar sightlines for broadcast media. Outside, a massive LED screen displayed the Unity 22’s course.
The astronauts piloting the Virgin Galactic launch made a flawless atmospheric circle, reaching a speed of Mach 3 and a height of 55.5 miles. When they touched back down to Earth we had a stage set up for a press conference with them and NASA astronaut Chris Hadfield.
The Virgin Galactic Unity 22 launch event received 43K+ press mentions that surely inspired tomorrow’s astronauts to soar. We were grateful to partner with Virgin Galactic to create a memorable media moment that generated over 29K articles and set the stage for space tourism.
