With the fastest street track in the Formula 1 calendar, the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix is a next-level race that demands a next-level entertainment experience. Fortunately, the masterminds at MDLBEAST were ready to take on the challenge of creating high-octane Formula 1 after-race concerts for the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix 2023, and we were the partner chosen to help deliver them.
We created a futuristic Formula 1 concert arena for three nights of after-race concerts at Jeddah Corniche Circuit. Pairing bold design with industrial grit, we repurposed shipping containers and erected a huge prismatic stage that lit up the night sky, delivering brilliant light shows and fiery bursts of pyrotechnics.
Megastars Justin Bieber and Jason Derulo performed on a projection-mapped stage for the Formula 1 Saudi Arabia inaugural show. The crowds went wild, and the atmosphere was electric – as were the charging stations, which allowed guests, who needed some downtime, the opportunity to top up their phones and relax. A custom VIP experience exuded luxury, with exclusive decks, viewing platforms, and super-premium VVVIP suites.
The Formula 1 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix activation achieved phenomenal success, captivating global audiences and generating significant media attention. Building on this triumph, we returned to Jeddah to elevate the experience even further. Following the remarkable growth after the 2024 events, which featured headliners Alicia Keys, Pharrell Williams, and Martin Garrix, the 2025 concerts – headlined by Jennifer Lopez, Usher, and Major Lazer – were even more expansive, audacious, and visually stunning, perfectly mirroring the excitement of Formula 1 racing.
