Bloomberg Philanthropies sought to address global noncommunicable diseases. They envisioned the Partnership for Healthy Cities Summit in Cape Town to spark global policy change and foster urban health strategies. To achieve this, TAIT was recruited to craft an engaging platform for international city leaders to exchange ideas, strategies, and solutions
In collaboration with the World Health Organization, Vital Strategies, and Cape Town, TAIT facilitated a summit that exceeded expectations. Key figures like Kelly Larson and Etienne Krug led impactful discussions, with Cape Town's Mayor highlighting local initiatives. The agenda weaved together public health insights and Cape Town's rich cultural narrative through educational tours. TAIT ensured the event's layout promoted interaction, learning, and strategic planning, making evening networking and workshops on topics like data equity a success.
The summit made significant strides in uniting efforts to combat urban health issues, driving commitments to equitable health policies and innovative strategies. TAIT's execution played a pivotal role in the summit's success, helping Bloomberg Philanthropies move closer to their goal and setting a new standard for future public health forums.
